A chef, gin, etching and supercars with Of One Mind’s first event of 2017

Of One Mind hosts fantastic networking events for like-minded companies and individuals to meet. I’ve been to a few of their events before and have found great companies like Ishi Salon (here and here) and learning all about Daffy’s Gin (here).

A fresh perspective on Zizzi: my vegan dining experience

I’d reviewed and wrote a post about Italian chain restaurant Zizzi before (see here) and I enjoyed my visit. On my most recent second visit, I’ve now experienced two different menus. It’s not necessarily a day to celebrate romantic love only – it’s a celebration of love and affection, but has over the years been associated with romantic love. No matter who you’re celebrating this day with, a good and full belly of fantastic food is a great way to show those you love in your life how much you appreciate their involvement in your life.

When the OH and I were deciding where to go for an early Valentine’s Day meal, it didn’t take me long to make a decision. I immediately thought of the warm atmosphere, hospitable and friendly staff and great food I enjoy and knew I wanted to go to Jamie’s Italian. Continue reading “Hello again, Jamie Oliver!”
