Jewellery making

Starting off with a new project that you’ve got no prior experience in can be quite a daunting task. As someone who started learning about jewellery making by attending an evening course with Edinburgh Council, I’ve picked up some useful information that I think might help, whether you want to add to your experience after attending a beginner’s course or to try doing it on your own, here are some useful tools to help you.

This toolkit will give you the basic tools you need to start off with:

Once you get your new anvil, you’ll need to cut a ‘V’ into the front (short) side – this will allow you space to saw through the piece without cutting into the wood.
