Over 120 Shaun the Sheeps in Bristol!

As a huuuuge fan of Shaun the Sheep in Wallace and Gromit: The Wrong Trousers when my sister and I continuously watched re-runs of TV episodes on TV and then on DVD, I couldn’t help but book our tickets online to visit the Wallace and Gromit store at The Mall in Cribbs Causeway before heading to the big Shaun in the City tent near the carpark.

I never thought I’d get so excited about visiting a shop, but the Wallace and Gromit shop was honest to goodness like a sweetie shop for a child! There was so much Gromit and Shaun memorabilia, I couldn’t really decide on what to buy as souvenirs! With my sister and mum visiting in the next week, I had to bring back some Gromit souvenirs for her too.

At the back of the store is also the Down on the Farm: The Shaun in the City Schools exhibition with over 40 mini Shaun the Sheep sculptures designed by schools. A suggested donation of £2 would be kindly welcomed.

Next, it’s off to the big tent to see the Shaun in the City sculptures! I’ve only posted photos of some of my favourite ones, but as you can tell, it’s really hard to choose!

Bee-dazzled Shaun!

Shaun in the City – Great Sheep Round Up exhibition in Bristol is now finished, but be sure to catch all 120 Shauns at Covent Garden Piazza in London from 24th to 27th September before the auction at The Mall in Cribbs Causeway where interested bidders can bid one any one (or more) of the Shauns on display on 8th October! Although this is a free, non-ticketed event, a donation for visiting the exhibition is kindly appreciated.

Proceeds from the auction of the 70 sculptures shown in Bristol will benefit The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity. Proceeds from the 50 London sculptures will go towards Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity, a national charity raising funds to improve the lives of sick children in hospitals and hospices throughout the UK.
